		I have had a setback. I told my naturopathic doctor about the foods that I would like to reintroduce. She said that most of them are inflammatory, and I should continue to avoid them. I was very upset and confused when I left.  I’m feeling a little better now. 
		
			
				
	 
 
			
				
	
	
				
		I have been thinking a lot about how much I have criticized myself for not being able to stick to the diet that the doctor told me to follow. It’s been such a relief to realize that I did not cause my symptoms by not following the diet. Letting myself off the hook has been a huge relief. 
		
			
				
	 
 
			
				
	
	
				
		I’ve also stopped listening to a podcast about IBS because they talk a lot about restricting food – and I started listening to Wendy’s podcast.
