After adding blueberries back, I had a stomachache. Before taking this program, I would have assumed it was the blueberries. But I now realize that it can be many different things. I kept introducing the blueberries and I was fine
I have found it helpful to have others around, but I don’t tell them that I am introducing a new food. When I have in the past, everyone was watching me and asking how it was going. Too much pressure!
I bought a Micky Mouse plate and cup. I’m in my 40’s, so it may sound a little strange, but it brings back happy memories.
My experience is similar to Melissa’s. I have been on a few elimination diets over the years, and the fear just started creeping in. I didn’t recognize it as fear until my dietitian pointed it out and recommended this program.
I have started telling myself, “living in a body is weird, sometimes things will feel weird.” It may sound odd, but I think it is helping. I have been repeating it to myself when I start to feel gurgles, twinges, or other strange sensations in my body (which are probably normal sensations, but I am just paying too close attention to them).
I definitely worry about food more when I am under a lot of stress at work or at home.
I just joined a few days ago, but I am looking forward to getting started with them.
